High-performance 3.2x wide optical zoom
The FinePix E500 incorporates a newly developed high-performance 3.2x Fujinon
wide zoom lens (28-91mm equivalent). Add digital zoom of up to 3.6x and you have
remarkable zoom versatility.
Versatile exposure options
Casual snapshooter or advanced photographer, you'll find a shooting mode that's
right for any situation. Or take even more control with three light-metering
options (64-TTL Multi, Spot and Average), exposure compensation, and full manual
settings.
Expanding your photographic vision
Want even more telephoto reach? Expand the capabilities of FinePix E500 by
attaching the optional 1.94x Tele Conversion Lens (approx. 177mm on a 35mm
camera equivalent) or 0.76x Wide Conversion Lens (approximately 21mm
equivalent).
Easy connection to your PC
The USB port and included FinePixViewer software make it a snap to download
image files, movie clips, and audio files to your computer. For even more
convenience, the optional PictureCradle automates file transfers while
recharging the camera's battery.
Direct printing without a PC
The FinePix E500 incorporates the PictBridge standard, allowing you to send your
image files to any PictBridge-compatible printer for computer-free printing.
FinePix Photo Mode
The convenient "F" button gives you one-touch access to all your favorite
settings, including quality mode, sensitivity, and FinePix Color mode.
